Andrew Peters is a freelance director from Maryland currently residing in Salisbury. His work has been seen in Baltimore, DC, Chicago, and internationally in Kuala Lumpur and Shenzhen. Recent directing credits include Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage (Possum Point, Georgetown, DE), Romeo and Juliet (adapted by THE FEAST, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China), Young Jean Lee’s Lear (Single Carrot Theatre, Baltimore, MD), 16-Bit Coriolanus (adapted and co-directed with Kelvin Wong at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), Jenny Schwartz’s God’s Ear, Denis O’Hare/Lisa Peterson’s An Iliad, Noah Haidle’s Vigils, and Rajiv Joseph’s Gruesome Playground Injuries (all at the Theatre School at DePaul). In Chicago, he was also an artistic intern at Victory Gardens Theatre. Andrew is the former founding Artistic Director of Glass Mind Theatre in Baltimore and THE FEAST in Shenzhen. He holds an MFA in Directing from The Theatre School at DePaul U., a dual Bachelors from Towson University (Towson, MD) and occasionally moonlights as a freelance graphic designer.
